Torlin ST-101 ordinary glass frosting powder is formulated to being mixed with hydrochloric acid and can be used to displace hydrofluoric acid in glass etching industry.

Torlin ST-101 is formulated to frost ordinary sodium lime type glass. The glass frosted by ST-101 can provide a smooth and fine etching appearance.ST-101 has been widely used in frosting glass lampshades, lighting bulbs, wine bottles, and glass gift items.

ST-101 is formulated to be mixed with an industrial grade hydrochloric acid (HCL acid). The concentration of hydrochloric acid should be larger than 31%.

Usage depends on the type of glass being frosted, the amount of opacity required and the skill of the user. We recommend that you use the following standard solution: the ratio of ST-101 powder to acid is 1:0.5 (by weight).
